Resources for the Communications department felt somewhat limited compared to larger universities, particularly in terms of updated equipment and internship pipelines. While some professors made strong efforts to connect students with opportunities, I often felt like I had to be proactive and seek those experiences on my own. Campus life was also relatively quiet, which could be a downside if you’re looking for a more traditional or socially active college experience.Overall, AIC provided a solid foundation.

I am currently enrolled in the 3+3 physical therapy program at American International college. I am about to enter the graduate phase of my program. It has been challenging but very helpful and informative. I have learned so much in the three years that I have been here and can not wait to learn everything about physical therapy in the next three years. The campus is mostly safe although we are located in a bad area. Financial aid is mildly useful. They're not exactly helpful to students who "don't... Parking is also interesting as a commuter and campus police is not very understanding about the limited number of parking spaces allotted for commuters. But the amazing program I am currently enrolled in makes it all worth while. I am very content with the degree I am pursuing and would strongly encourage other students to highly consider American International College for any health science degree, but especially a degree in Physical Therapy.

The graduate program at American International College (AIC) is terrific. I am in their extended campus program, meeting onc evening a week in a nearby town. I am a single mother of 2 girls and work 6 days a week, so I live a very busy life. The ability to access a graduate degree with face to face interaction verses on line, is ideal for me. I appreciate the small class size and the realistic approach to achieving a masters degree while living a full and busy life. I am really enjoying the classes and find the content very interesting and helpful too my current position in education.

If you are a military veteran, especially a minority male, then there will be certain professors that will not like you and find ways to fail you. I would NOT recommend this school, especially to any military veteran that is a male. Being a male student in a program that is predominantly made up of women one should be prepared to see favoritism. In other words, if your not a female you will be ignored and not be treated equally and, even worse, if you are a military veteran that is a minority your... As a graduate student in American International College's extended campus program in Buzzard's Bay, MA, I am very satisfied with my graduate education thus far. I take all of my classes with a cohort of education students and I am able to learn a lot from both my peers (many of whom are educators) and my professors. American International College is a home, community and family for all the students. The small community is very nice because you have so many students and faculty that are willing to be each and every students cheerleader. The class sizes are small and individualized. Professors put the students needs first before and are always willing to help out any student who needs help. The health science classes and professors are superb. This graduate program seems truly invested in their students, which I feel is a rare quality in the world of academia. Our program has some of the most enthusiastic faculty I have ever met on my educational journey and they are always a call or email away. Another pro to going to AIC for occupational therapy is being able to use the new health facility. We have some of the newest technologies to help us learn from equipment to practice dummies, which is helpful for a hands-on learner like myself.... Read More So far, as I am only a second semester graduate student, the only con to this program is its location. Springfield is not the safest place and it has also required that I move away from my family. However, I really want to become an OT so if those are my only cons, I feel I am doing pretty well.
