Flexibility is super important, and FSU has an excellent online master's program in Library Science/Information. You can even add value by adding an internship to your studies, even as an online student, so that is a super bonus. Professors are engaged and prepared, and ready and willing to help you on your educational journey. Read More sizes were reasonable: large enough to have some interesting group work and disussions but not so large that you get lost in the crowd. Tuition is reasonable, and the school is well known and well recognized, even outside of the state. I would highly recommend the program for aspriing librarians, teacher librarians, archivists, etc. The school's program feels professional and carefully arranged, not just thrown together. It will help launch your career, and will be something you are proud of.

I enjoyed my time at Florida State. I was able to work part-time at a research clinic under the supervision of a professor and graduate students. I was also able to intern at the Florida State Mental Hospital (not affiliated with the school) where I got hands on experience with real residents and see the actual day to day work of a psychiatrist. I studied psychology because it was an interest of mine. Overall I loved FSU. I knew I wanted to go to a big school and I got everything I wanted. Football games were fun. There were always activities on campus, the food options were great, and the gyms on campus were nice. I would recommend FSU to everyone interested.

Pretty awesome place to be. Everyone is incredibly kind and it's surprising how many people go out of their way to help you out with things. Campus resources are very responsive and timely and generally quite helpful, from the accommodations services all the way to the health clinic. Not to mention, campus is gorgeous and is kept up with well, so it's always a great environment to be in. Florida State University had an easy application process and getting in was great. However after I got in the process fell apart. I originally had an advisor that was not easy to reach and missed deadlines due to not having the support I needed going into my program. After taking some time off I came back to school which was a process due to missing the deadline due to the old advisor. My new advisor is excellent and has made it so much easier. I also have enjoyed my classes but as I am close to graduation I am disappointed that one of my electives that I wanted to take was never offered. I am now taking a random class that does not fit my job.

I was able to complete my degree while working full-time. The faculty was very accommodating of my work schedule, which I appreciated. The public history program really does connect you with multiple cultural institutions around Tallahassee (Goodwood, the Knott House, Tallahassee Historic Preservation Trust, etc.) And the degree measurably contributed to my current work.
