My experience at Full Sail University has been one of the most rewarding and transformative journeys of my life. When I first enrolled, I knew I wanted to pursue my passion for audio, music, and entertainment, but I had no idea how much I would grow both professionally and personally throughout the process.

Throughout the program, I gained valuable experience in recording, editing, mixing, mastering, sound design, post-production, and professional communication. Every course built upon the previous one and helped me develop a strong foundation that I will carry with me throughout my career.

One of the things I appreciated most about Full Sail was the dedication of the instructors. The faculty consistently demonstrated a genuine desire to see students succeed. They provided detailed feedback, answered questions quickly, and shared real industry knowledge that extended far beyond the course materials. Their support played a major role in helping me stay motivated and continue striving for excellence.

I am especially proud of what I accomplished during my time here. I maintained a GPA above 3.5, earned membership in both the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and the National Collegiate Scholars Society (NCSS), and graduated with honors. These achievements are a direct reflection of the work ethic, discipline, and confidence that Full Sail helped me develop.

Beyond academics, Full Sail encouraged me to think bigger about my future. The university provided career resources, networking opportunities, and professional development tools that helped me prepare for the next chapter of my journey. Through these experiences, I gained a clearer vision of my goals as an audio professional, entrepreneur, creator, and storyteller.

What makes Full Sail truly special is its ability to create an environment where students from different backgrounds can pursue their dreams while being supported every step of the way. The fast-paced format requires commitment and dedication, but the reward is an education that feels relevant, practical, and connected to the industries students hope to enter.

As I graduate from the Audio Production bachelor's program and prepare to continue my education in the Creative Writing master's program, I can confidently say that Full Sail University has had a significant impact on my life. It has provided me with knowledge, skills, confidence, and opportunities that I will carry for years to come.

I am grateful for the instructors, staff, advisors, and fellow students who helped make this journey memorable. Full Sail University challenged me, inspired me, and helped me grow into a better professional and person. I am proud to be a Full Sail graduate and excited for what comes next.

Full Sail is one of the most prestigious schools in the nation for hands on learning and staying ahead of the industry with its high standardized class work. The University plans its class structure off monthly curriculums that reflect how the industry operates and changes over time. The classes allow you to save your progress and to reflect back into those completed courses when a refresher is needed. Through online forms and on site class activities, the learning curve is at an all time high. This allows you to get the assistance you need while able to find out the hard questions that you will find out later in the industry. Full Sail is one of the colleges that has a very different approach than other institutions. Each class offers something different form the industry, but when you get through it, you will see that all the classes add up to give your the best results and material to succeed in the industry. They equip you with all the essentials for when you land your first or dream position in the field.

School promises a lot of hands on learning but, being forced to spend over half the degree on irrelevant trainings/classes and about 60% of the time the classes are just "YouTube" courses. It feels like i could have spent half the money for triple the training. In fact during my time at the school I did pay to get additional training and due to feeling like so many things are skipped or brushed through. Its no surprise the 5 friends I've made during my time here all feel like their training barely... This school is good. For beginners, yes it will be harder because you鈥檙e getting thrown into classes with people who have prior experience and teachers who have been in their respected industries for 5+ years. There is A LOT to learn regardless of your major and you have to be willing to put in the time and effort to get the most out of this school. Read More at our discretion with some of those facilities not needing any special inquiries, meaning we can use them as long as there is open space. However when you try to use these facilities you are told things like 鈥渢hese rooms are for labs only.鈥� That makes me question why I鈥檓 being billed $24,000 yearly to attend what is supposed to be a top music school but I can鈥檛 even freely use any studios or facilities that I鈥檓 paying to use.

If you are pursuing MUSIC PRODUCTION, do not attend this school. Full Sail is a terrible school for music production, especially if you're a beginner. You'll graduate only learning music theory and how to set up a Pro Tools session. That's pretty much it. Yes, you'll have a degree and your basic education to pursue further education, but if you're looking to join Full Sail because of its accelerated program thinking you'll be able to make money sooner by getting through school quicker, you're fooling... This school is great at marketing itself--basically they are great at sales. Do your own research! There's a reason why their graduation rate is so low compared to other schools. They brag about how graduates get most of their first jobs through other graduates, and there's a reason for that. It's almost as if the school is designed to put you in a dead end loop that only they can get you out of. ONLY if you're willing to kiss others behinds and live your life the way they want you to. Basically, your passions has to align with their vision on how you'll have any level of success--even if it's less than $100K/yr just looking to live a simple life. Attend at your own risk...

This school is a complete and utter joke, it's was not worth the massive amount of debt I got put in to attend. They're marketing makes it sound great until you go almost like how a ponzi scheme is. The instructors barely explain anything to you. When you need help with the work they give you a link to a discord where you can have other STUDENTS help you with the work not instructors, The work consists of mostly youtube videos with very little hands on. The classes are only about an hour long which... Read More isn't a lot of time to actually understand the class most of the things you learn you can learn without spending the massive amount of money it costs to go there. I had to withdraw from the program because I owed over 20k. There are very little options for student loans as it's mostly an out of pocket cost school. You can not transfer your credits to other colleges, long story short this school is a complete scam and the students saying it's not a scam and "its just not for everyone" are full of themselves. As long as you have a pulse they will accept you. They just want your money and that's it once you enroll good luck trying to get ahold of any assistance whatsoever. Heed my warning and stay as far away from this school there are much better options than this puppy mill of a school the other one atar reviews are not people exaggerating with skepticism it's the unfortunate truth of of dread of how this place takes your money as they don't even offer room and board as you have to find your own place to live/food etc.

This is a terrible school. The only good thing about Full Sail is the shiny new things you get to play with (especially as a music student and getting to be in a studio) and I believe this is how they trap kids (especially ones fresh out of high-school like I was) who don't know any better. Do research into other schools, this school is way overpriced with nothing to show for it. I have many friends who are years passed graduated and still have not found any jobs in the fields they went to Full Sail... Read More for. This school warns you their curriculum is fast paced but do not expand onto what degree. If you slip behind even a tiny bit the instructors here will not help you at all. 90% of their staff is rude and totally unprofessional. I was attending to get my B.S. but I left after I received my associates to go to a much, MUCH better university for not nearly as much money. There is a huge difference in this school and the school I actually ended up getting my Bachelor's from in what a university should be. There is a reason this school has a terrible graduation rate. The only reason I even gave this school 2 stars is because I do have a better understanding of music but I could've gotten that at a much better university. Stay away.

As an online students in Music Production Program, I have many problems with communicating with instructors or finding tutoring for my classes. Full Sail Technical support is unhelpful and never really solve the problems for students. The waiting of holding on the phone call is too long and wasting my time overall. The career development never really help you find an intern or entry level job and most of the instructors aren't willing to help the online students when they're struggling with the tasks.... Read More The cost of tuition isn't worth it for the quality of education experiences. Before I was a Full Sail student, I had attended a community college in Washington State, and the learning experiences are way better than my experiences in Full Sail University. Since Full Sail University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), you can't transfer any course to the schools are accredited by CAAHEP or regional agency.

The Academic Advisor, alongside the other academic advising team members that I crossed paths with during my stay at Full Sail University were condescending and unhelpful, to the point of frustration. If these advisors were that unhappy with their job, maybe they should consider seeking another career path as they had very little desire to help me in any of my situations, most of which was the schools errors. There were a total of 4 out of 22 months that did not require my presence in the Academic... Read More Advising office, sometimes multiple visits, in order to fix their error and keep me on schedule. Incredibly frustrating. The courses would make more sense if they were reversed in order, as we were given access to more equipment earlier than later. Overall this school gave me the ability to receive a Bachelors Degree in 22 months, so I am grateful. But as far as the professionalism they so readily preach and make mandatory to their students, they do just that, preach.
