I enjoyed my time at State and was thankful for the opportunity to attend as an out of state student. Coming from a different area of the country, being in Starkville was a valuable part of my maturation into adulthood and showed me a different way of life than I was used to. The academic experience at MSU was fine and fairly typical of a state university. There are several strong programs and a handful that aren't. Overall I appreciated the variety and diversity of my experiences.

I had great professors and advisors in the Nutrition Department. Easy to get involved with the Student Dietetic Association where many opportunities were available to me to further my social and networking skills in the field. I feel that I received quality instruction.

MSU is a great university! They have so many resources to help get your career started. I made lifelong friends there and grew my professional network tremendously. The degree also speaks for itself. The engineering department is top quality and I can tell when I'm working with another MSU engineer.

Mississippi State is a great school if you’re looking for community. It’s based in a small town, but there are plenty things to do if you’re willing to look. The people are welcoming. The campus is beautiful. The environment is a mix of chill and fun

Mississippi State University was a great institution for my counseling career. The highlight for me was outstanding faculty and staff. They are knowledgable, helpful, and deeply care about the graduate students. The professors I had made a lasting impact on me.

Mississippi State shaped me in and outside of the classroom. I was pushed to exceed academically by supportive and knowledgeable professors. I was also pushed to learn leadership skills, social and networking skills, and gain independence and confidence through activities outside of the classroom. Mississippi State is a special place filled with special people.

I had a fun experience during my time at Mississippi State. I made amazing friends and constantly felt a sense of community. The faculty of the math department were very encouraging and inspired me in so many ways beyond academics. The university offered many resources to support students in the academic careers, mental health, and other personal endeavors. They had a mission to ensure no one would fail.

Great atmosphere and a beautiful, underrated campus. While not in the highest echelon of academics, the school is more than serviceable in getting students ready to join the workforce. It also checks all the boxes in what a typical college student is looking in getting the "college experience" all at an affordable cost.

Mississippi State University is known to be an agriculture and engineering school. In retrospect, I probably would have received a better education in accounting from a business school. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at the University, but I feel like they didn't necessarily set me up for success when entering the job market.

Going to Mississippi State was a great experience for me. I got a quality degree at a great campus. There were alot of scholarships avaliable for me, coming from a low income household that was very important to me. I would recommend to anyone to go to MSU

I had an issue enrolling in classes during the enrollment period. There is almost no way to contact any human about this online program once you are enrolled. My advisor never bothered to respond to any of my emails. Other links to someone who might have been human were unresponsive either. You could only get to some canned answers which were not relevant to the problem at hand.

Going to Mississippi state was the worst decision of my life. I was treated horribly by the staff. Got yelled at constantly. The degree I got from this college is worthless. There are so many better colleges out there. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Mississippi State.

Poultry science classes have some of the most hands-on labs available. If did not grow up in the poultry industry and want to learn, I highly recommend. Professors and faculty are knowledgeable in their field and are eager to help students learn. The classes are small which I feel increase the learning experience. As for MSU, the campus is large and has lots of diversity. It is well maintained and locals are friendly.

Mississippi State University has an awesome industrial program that falls under the school of education. Instructional Technology gives you a multitude of options to enroll in, to meet your career needs. You leave with skills in knowledge in the areas of becoming a teacher, computer systems, workforce development, office systems and the list goes on and on. The advisers are very helpful and provides you support where and when needed.

My undergraduate career was a learning experience. My university had it's fair share of problems but the department that my degree fell under was fairly small and closely knit, so I was able to develop fairly close relationships with my professors and fellow students involved in that department.
