faculty is great but would like to have more online classes.

Pro: Professors are there to assist when needed. Con: Wish it was advertised more so that more people could take advantage of this great program.

The sciences at Northeastern for undergraduates are fantastic! The Co-op program is amazing. The graduate departments tend to be lacking, with the exception of chemistry which seems to be well supported in the College of Science. Some advisors are excellent, but others let students fall through the cracks - it is an uneven distribution and the quality of education you get depends on who you end up working with.

While I love some of my professors there, there are others that are sub par at best. Trying to be advised is a nightmare.

The pros of this program are the excellent faculty, the other students in the program, and the practical experience gained in the classroom. The main con is the small commuter campus leading to the lack of a ton of educational resources on campus.

The enrolling process was easy to get through because I had excellent assistance. As a senior citizen I could have used a little more assistance with the online program. It was a little difficult for me to grasp. The staff and students are outstanding though.

Northeastern State University was an amazing university. It gave me the education and support that I needed to be successful as an educator. I greatly value my time at NSU. I recommend all students to go to NSU.

Very limited scholarship opportunity for the Masters of Ed. department.

I love my graduate program and the professors I have had so far. The main disadvantage of this program is the fact that they really do not cater to most working adults (the bulk of classes start prior to 5 p.m.).

The instructors are extremely interested in the success of the students.

The rigorous course material is thorough and the professors are easily accessible through a variety of methods of contact.

My program was very comprehensive. My advisers were with me every step of the way and the other professors in my department always had time for me and my questions.

The graduate program at Northeastern State university is very flexible and offers a variety of in-class, on-line and blended classes to accomodate working professionals.

The college is in the process of obtaining CACREP accreditation. This is a magnificent achievement.

I feel that the program that I am enrolled in is preparing me well to continue on my career path.

The chair of the program is very knowledgeable concerning the needs of the practicing teacher. She expects a lot of the students but that works to the benefit of the student. By expecting a lot, the chair better prepares the student to take on the position of teacher. The only negative part i have found so far is that there are always things involved in teaching that are not covered in class and have to be learned through experience.

91³ÉÈË classes are a definite pro to the nursing program. I am able to work while going to school. The con is not having an actual "live" classroom. In order to be successful, one must possess a strong sense of direction and motivation. Good communications skills are a must, there is no sense in suffering in silence. The instructors are very supportive and kind; willing to help at any time.

So far, the class schedules have been flexible!
