As a working adult, I value UF’s flexibility in providing a classroom experience online. The emphasis on two-way communication and the use of Zoom enabled me to be fully present and interact with fellow students and faculty. Read More Not content to merely instruct, the professors engage with students personally and forge strong professional relationships through the combination of challenging coursework and high levels of participation. I am a far better writer and instructor now than when I began the program, and the inclusion of several digital media courses ensured that I am tech savvy as well. As an Iranian applicant who was forced to decline her admission from university of Findlay, Ohio, I'd like to write about my experience with this university!!! They discriminate and treat internationals quite unfairly!!!! Firstly, they offered me around $15,000 per year scholarship in my admission letter in order to manage my tuition fees, then they CHANGED THEIR MIND!!!!! and reduced this amount of scholarship to $10,000 per year. Which was quite shocking itself and when I asked them about the reason... Read More they decided to reply my email after about 2 weeks!!!! which is quite unusual again, telling me that I was supposed to present IELTS band score 7.5!!!!!!!!!!! While, it is mentioned clearly in the university's official website and my admission letter that , in order to get accepted directly to the university course they require IELTS band score 6.0. I presented IELTS band score 7.0!!!!!! They treated me unfairly and wasted my time! So I decided to write about it, in order to spread awareness among people like me who are considering studying in the US and seeking funds and scholarships.

If you like a small school with personalized instruction and professors who really care, The University of Findlay is the place for you. The Master of Arts in Rhetoric and Writing program taught me so much about the field I want to someday be a part of. The course-load is difficult, yet worth it. There are classes specifically for those who want to go on for a Ph.D. and electives for those who want to pursue a different career using their MARW background. I am confident that the MARW program has prepared me well for my Ph.D. and beyond.

The PTA to DPT transition program through the University of Findlay has been great so far with all of the professors really tailoring their instruction of specific topics to us as current clinicians trying to further ourselves within the realm of physical therapy. The college itself is pretty nice, with all I've seen so far being well taken care of. The faculty really hammered into us during orientation that we are not fighting for spots in school anymore and we've really come together as a class... The University of Findlay has provided me with a truly nurturing environment to pursue my Pharm D degree. All of my professors are more than willing to help with study tips, homework assignments or even life or career advice. I have been able to excel in the classroom and have been provided with ample leadership opportunities. The campus is extremely safe with security patrolling constantly.
