University of Indianapolis has amazing staff, specifically in the College of Health Sciences. All my professors made class bearable and were always more than helpful. The small campus allows close connections with your faculty which is great. The only negative thing about UIndy is that most of the students leave home every weekend so there isn't always the best social life; however, being only 10 minutes from downtown, you can enjoy city life once you are 21, which helps greatly.

This school very much prepared me to pass the boards and treat patients well. I felt prepared going out into the physical therapy field. I learned a lot at this program and I’m very thankful to have gone there. It was a rigorous program that helped me learn and grow.

The program I went through was a cohort program that was provided by the hospital that I worked at. With this program I took one class at a time for 6 weeks. It was a 1 day a week class. I highly recommend the college. The college works with students right out of high school and older students who havent attended school in many years. The hospital I worked at paid for my schooling. I was blessed that the school and hospital worked together to further their nurses career.

The University of Indianapolis is a waste of time and money. I have been unemployed for 2 years as a result of several staff members hacking into my account. You will not learn anything of substance and your privacy will be invaded. Was sexually harassed for years and professors and staff did nothing to prevent it.

The University of Indianapolis is not only a great school for education, but they also offer an abundance of events. There are several events each year both for academics, networking, and fun. There are also several types of sports to attend. The education is exceptional and you really learn everything you need to know for the given career. The professors and advisors are always available to help and have your best interest in mind.

This is a private school with relatively small class sizes which allows for better student-teacher interaction. Many of the professors are/were working professionals which enables them to relate what is being taught to everyday life.

I had a good experience studying in the adult program at University of Indianapolis. I felt like the instructors were always willing to work with me and were very understanding when sometimes issues popped up. I always felt like the work load was appropriate and manageable. Graduation was one of the best days of my life!

The administration and advisors at the University of Indianapolis were extremely helpful with everything, scheduling classes, financial aid, and more. The campus is small and the classes are also smaller which gives such a great environment for learning. I would recommend this school highly!

The University of Indianapolis has an excellent Physical Therapy program. They preach a family atmosphere and that is truly what you get with your fellow students and faculty. Their focus on an integrated clinical experience as well as the community patient group members they bring into class has me well prepared for my first clinical rotation coming up in the fall.

The physical therapy program at UIndy strives to integrate the student PTs into real life scenarios via faculty interaction as well as actual patient interaction extremely early in the program (1st segment of 1st semester). This practice makes them fairly unique from a nation wide perspective. While I believe this early exposure will be instrumental in my ability to be a competent PT right out of school, it contributes to a significant amount of stress as a student in the program.

The pro's outweigh the con's every time. My program is small which I see as a pro, it is grueling and therefore produces top research and qualified graduates. The staff is remarkable with well known names in the field a large amount of experience and a remarkable grasp on the diversity of the field. There are areas that could be improved upon like the funding for first year master's students but there are great opportunities for funded assistantships your second year of the program.
