The college was beautiful and the program amazing. I found the instructors to be very helpful and willing to meet during office hours if additional help was needed. I had opportunities at Virginia Tech that I would not have had at other schools. In addition, my degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise was a great lead in to my first Masters degree in Health Promotion and Health Education also from Virginia Tech. Attending Virginia Tech was the best decision I ever made. The campus and surrounding town have a wonderful atmosphere with professors and students that truly care about one another. I had excellent professors that have prepared me well to pursue a graduate degree. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

College proved to be an exercise in responsibility via time management. Classes progress in difficulty based on prior effort, so if you put in the the effort for "easier" classes and excel in those, the higher level classes are manageable.
