I love Virginia Tech! Such an amazing program, university, and incredible opportunity to grow in academics and character! The college was beautiful and the program amazing. I found the instructors to be very helpful and willing to meet during office hours if additional help was needed. I had opportunities at Virginia Tech that I would not have had at other schools. In addition, my degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise was a great lead in to my first Masters degree in Health Promotion and Health Education also from Virginia Tech. I then used this as a foundation to support my second masters from Eastern Virginia... Read More Medical School to complete my degree as a Physician Assistant. If I could change anything from my undergraduate time, I wish I would have stressed a little less about grades (though they are important) and enjoyed the moment. I wish I would have known how lucky I was to be there while I was there. Those years and experiences flew by so fast that I feel like it was just a breeze blowing by. Life is short. My advice it to use the college opportunity to not only learn your academic profession, but build life long relationship, explore your dreams, try new things, and don't be afraid to go out on your own. This is one of the best times of my life. Virginia Tech is an absolutely inspiring campus full of opportunities beyond anything I could have imagined. I even took a couple classes in horse-back riding while I was there since it was something I always had wanted to do and we could never afford it growing up. Dont be afraid to just take an off the wall class to learn something new. Enjoy the learning process and have fun!
