Central Michigan University is a great institution in the laid back setting of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. One of my favorite aspects of CMU was its campus. This is because it was small enough that I could walk to all my classes, and it never took more that 15 minutes. I also enjoyed my classes. The downside of this is that many employers are looking for specialized graduates, so if a student is looking to work immediately upon graduation this is not the best option. The perk of this degree, is that it's perfect for students, like me, who weren't 100% sure about the career they want to pursue. With my degree I was eligible for a huge selection of graduate programs, and after deciding on a career I was able to apply, and get accepted, into a great graduate program.

I am in my third year of attaining my Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences. I am a single mom and some of my psychology classes for my minor are online. Central Michigan University has wonderful resources available to its students with the goal of helping us achieve our own goals. Wherever you turn someone is ready to help you.
