I am pursing a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas. Overall I have been satisfied with the quality of my education and the projects I was able to pursue. Through my experience I have gained valuable knowledge in design development and various computer programs. There should be more integration of technology within the courses especially in studio. At the University of Kansas I feel I am getting a hands on experience in Architecture. I've been given real world examples of winning clients by going through a competitive interview process already in my first semester. The graduate program involves a lot of hard work and long hours in the studio, but the hard work pays off in excellent work for your portfolio and architectural experience. Read More thing I feel is lacking with KU's architecture program is the technology; not enough computer labs or computer program tutorial opportunities such as Revit or the Adobe suite.

I love the University of Kansas School of Architecture. We ranked #14 our of 99 graduate schools for architecture last year. It contains a very rich and well diverse faculty and staff, giving each student a broad range of knowledge and opportunities to branch out within the design field. Read More there are very little scholarships and GTA positions available, and the KU financial aid structure makes it very difficult to help with cost of living expenses after the cost of attendance is covered. Despite the financial struggles, I feel my master's degree from KU will be rewarding for my future goals.
